What if I want to stop using Secure ID?

Step 1: Migration

  • Go to each of the services that you have signed up using a Secure ID address and use their account settings to edit the email address they have on file for you. Change these settings to use your primary email address (or another address you control) instead of a secure ID address.
  • Forward any emails you wish to keep to your primary email address
  • Note these will often send a confirmation email to the previous address with a link or code, so don't shut down your Secure ID account until you are confident migration is complete.

Step 2: Shutdown

  • During the Beta simply contact us from your primary email address with your wish to shut down the account. With your confirmation we will delete your account and all the associated data.
