What does Secure ID do?
Secure ID provides unique alternative contact details you can use with third party providers. If that provider has a data breach your primary contact details are not leaked, only a single Secure ID address which you can easily change.
This protects you not just from immediate abuse, over time it disrupts hackers who aggregate information about you from multiple leaks. In a world of billion row leaked datasets and AI powered hackers, using Secure ID will introduce noise to the leaked data about you and make you a lower priority target.
The full product is planned to include email addresses, phone numbers, plus cyber insurance to cover harm arising from the leaked data that is already out there.
